Blood Promise by Richelle Mead

Summary: How far will Rose go to keep her promise?

The recent Strigoi attack at St. Vladimir-s Academy was the deadliest ever in the school-s history, claiming the lives of Moroi students, teachers, and guardians alike. Even worse, the Strigoi took some of their victims with them. . . including Dimitri.

He-d rather die than be one of them, and now Rose must abandon her best friend, Lissa-the one she has sworn to protect no matter what-and keep the promise Dimitri begged her to make long ago. But with everything at stake, how can she possibly destroy the person she loves most?

I was waiting for this book to release and I was very satisfied by this book. So far it is the best of the series. I will now have to wait until May of next year to read Spirit Bound.

After an awful ending to book 3, I was more than eager to read this book. Rose goes against all her beliefs and leaves the one person she has spent her whole life preparing to protect.

She is on a journey to find the man that she is in love with to kill him. When Rose finds out that Dimitri has been turned Strigoi in the school attack, she knows what she has to do. Dimitri and Rose had discussed that they would rather die than be a Strigoi.
